The SHAMELESS Foundation

When I started in this work, I wanted to ensure that everyone had access to love, care, and support.
I really struggled in the early days with the notion of having to charge my clients. I didn’t want to create barriers to receiving life-changing support, but I also knew that I needed to put food on my own table, so I really found myself in a predicament.
In 2023, I started a non-profit arm of my coaching business. Initially, this began as a way for me to provide free or reduced coaching sessions to clients facing financial difficulties. This last for a couple of years, but as my business started growing, I found myself not being able to manage both a business and a non-profit, so I put the non-profit on the back burner.
When I hosted my first in-person retreat last year in Portland, my co-facilitator Walter and I reflected and thought, “There’s something more to this… there’s a deeper need for community and connection that our fellow gay men are craving…”
So, we went back to the drawing board.
Toward the end of last year, I was invited to attend an event hosted by my dear friend Powers of Man. I attended at the start of this year, and I was instantly inspired by the connection that was cultivated amongst participants. Whether we were getting to know each other over beers at a local bar or guiding each other through consensual embodiment practices, the signal was clear: affection, depth, safety, and connection are in greater need than ever before.
The day after that event, and the day before I was getting ready to fly back to Hawaii, I took myself on a brisk walk alongside I-5 in Downtown Seattle.
And it hit me.
This is what we need to do.
So, I called up Walter, and we hustled and bustled to re-ignite The SHAMELESS Foundation.
Here with The SHAMELESS Foundation, we’re creating spaces where gay men can reconnect with themselves and each other through emotional honesty, integrated embodiment, and community.
We aim to establish a global network of SHAMELESS chapters that provide accessible spaces for emotional integration, embodied awareness, and genuine connection.
Through this work, we seek to transform the culture of isolation, performance, and disconnection that affects many gay men, replacing it with a culture of self-acceptance, personal integrity, and collective belonging.
Our long-term vision is to create sustainable community infrastructure that improves mental health outcomes, strengthens community resilience, and empowers gay men to live fully expressed, connected lives.
So what does this all mean?
Well, we’re gonna start in Seattle and Honolulu, beginning with creating in-person events that bring gay+ men together to build genuine connections and relationships, talk through shame, support one another, and defeat the loneliness so many of us are experiencing.
We have plans to do this through community meet-ups, hikes, support groups, naked meditation circles, speed dating events, movie nights, etc.
It’s all about bringing gay+ men together, especially gay+ men who are craving depth, being “seen,” and knowing they’re not alone.
Our first event is happening on Monday, March 16 at Saint John’s Bar and Eatery in Capitol Hill, Seattle.
From 7-9 pm, it’s a free event just to come together to chat with each other, get to make some new friends, and start building community.
If you’re in the area and interested, register here! Seats are limited.
Stay tuned for additional events that are coming up by following the foundation on Instagram.
If you want to support our mission, you can make a small donation to kickstart additional events!
We have plans to rollout this work in cities all across the country (and one day, the world), so be on the lookout for that.
Thank y’all for your love and support, and I can’t wait to continue getting this venture off the ground so we can build a culture of openness, empowerment, and genuine compassion.

All my best,
